Saturday Gay Pride and Sunday Father’s Day!

I don’t love having two things to celebrate in one weekend, but I’m going to go with it’s the beginning of Grilling Season! I took some time to make my Grilling with Herbs card easier to understand. Most of the info is for fresh herbs like making an herb bed for your main dish. Cool, huh? Pick up your card and buy some fresh bunches to try out. It’s that Time of Year

Everything is blooming … and the bugs are out. Did you know that both Mugwort and Wormwood are in the Artemisia family and are natural repellants? I’ll be selling quart sized bags of dried Mugwort on the stem with recipes for taking care of your fruit trees and pets. Come see me at the Clarkfork River Market 8-1.

Memorial in Missoula…

Spring tonic herbs, fresh! This weekend can be bittersweet for many. on the one hand we have the memories of those that have given all and died trying for our freedom. On the other hand we’ve got all this new life coming up with tonic herbs. Eat, drink and be merry and healthy! We’re serving up Frontier Flu Brew to boost your immunity in this changeable weather.

Springtime is Special

Our resident Blue Heron There’s so much to see and do this season right in our own yards! I love bird watching… with our cool mornings, it’s great to watch from my indoor observation room. But then it’s time to get out there and clean up and prepare for the growing season. I don’t know about you, but I need to have a nice cup of tea before, during and after to take care of those newly acquired aches and inflammation that happens. We’ll be sampling and selling our Old Bones Blend for that! NEW! We’ll have a few bunches of  fresh herbs available too. Come see us at Clarkfork River Market!

New Life New Food

Probably one of my favorite foods is salad. sometimes you can get all the fresh ingredients  that are organic you need even now. Our producers have been growing in high tunnels for a while now, and of course, greens  are some of the first crops. Love it! I won’t be at the winter market this week since I’m planting too. Enjoy a local salad for me, will ya?

Spring has Sprung!?

Well, of course, here we know that means part-time winter. We have a rollercoaster with temperatures and weather. That’s when it’s time to eat smart and drink herb tea to make our bodies merry! Get up and out whenever you can …we’ve got a tea for that. We’ll be sampling our Gettin’ Up & Out Tonic at the Missoula Valley Winter Market. Try it with some herb infused meals this week and cozy up.
