Get prepared to Celebrate!

Everything in life is better if you prepare. With a little thinking through, you can make this month sing. If you host, have something different along with the traditional fare. From Spooky to Thankful

I Must be Dreaming!

Mugwort. I grow a lot of it because it does a lot. Did You know? Mugwort has been used throughout history to help you dream vividly. This is my last fresh herb I’ll have with me for the year and I’m giving away bunches for free! You can also get a small card on Mugwort as well. Come get some and have Happy dreams!

The Blooms may be Sparse…

The outdoor season is wrapping up for our N.W. herb plants. We’ll keep on harvesting as we can and prepare the garden for it’s rest and renew time. We’ll be doing holiday craft fairs in November and December so we’re also getting things ready! See you at this last fresh herb market!

And all that … Before Labor Day

A bucket of Gravelroot or Joe Pye Weed Bunches to hang and give away Thank you for all your support last week! Beside harvesting a bucket for giveaway, there are so many herbs to choose from to share, I have been harvesting most of the day, and making small batches of culinary blends to replenish what was sold last week. I might be a little shy on the Tea Blends because so far my ordered lids are not here. We’ll be at the Clarkfork Market with lots of herbs and learning! Come see us this week since we’ll be away with family for Labor Day weekend! We replaced 5 of the 6 basic culinary blend small batches. New and fresh!

Harvesting Sunshine and a Whole Lot More

I hope you’re enjoying summer! It is busy…especially if you are a gardener. Seems like all this heat, sunshine, rain repeat is great for everything to grow. I just keep featuring what’s in harvest now. Come to the market this weekend and enjoy some fresh vines of hops for free and one quart of dried blossoms for $3. Some ideas and recipes come with them!

What’s this Herb for?

Every week brings something new to the garden. It’s hard to decide what fresh herbs to bring. I grow both culinary and wellness tea herbs, about 140 in all. You’ll see 2 bunches of 12 culinary and 20 wellness tea herbs. I’ll be bunching herbs according to themes and use. If you don’t see what your looking for, just ask! See us at CFRM 8-1.

Sweet Summertime…

We will be  featuring fresh Pineapple Sage, our bumper crop this week at the Clarkfork Market. That means that we have free bunches hanging on the tent frame for the taking as long as it lasts! It smells as soothing as it is. Make sun tea with it, put it in salads or as a garnish on anything summer. read more about at the booth! penidabet
