I, for one, am loving that all those “dead” things around us are covered with a nice soft shroud of lacy white. The frigid weather is a challenge as far as leaving the house. I won’t be at the market this weekend, but I’m expecting to be at my daughter’s baby shower…. fun!

We’ll have a limited amount of gallon bags of elderberries on the stem at the Clarkfork River Market so you can make your own Elderberry syrup and we’ll be selling Quit Snivelin Wellness Tea Blend by the jar, mugpacks, cups to go and sampling the blend with local honey from Sapphire Apiaries and extra elderberries!
Really? I thought it was summer last week and I had time to finish those projects I scheduled. This market will be last time for fresh herbs, since it’s already cold at night! We’ll have company over from Washington for the last week of “Montana Summer”. So I’ll be hustling in the garden in between activities. When I come back, I’ll have fresh elderberries for you!

I don’t love having two things to celebrate in one weekend, but I’m going to go with it’s the beginning of Grilling Season! I took some time to make my Grilling with Herbs card easier to understand. Most of the info is for fresh herbs like making an herb bed for your main dish. Cool, huh? Pick up your card and buy some fresh bunches to try out.
